The complete Titanic Voyage – a cruise that became history for all the wrong (and deadly) reasons, is being recreated by a luxury liner on a voyage being called The Titanic Memorial Cruise.
According to a story at the Times of India, the 12 night cruise will attempt to complete recreate the entire cruise – minus the disaster that became an infamous part of history. Down to the same number of passengers (1,309), the same types of foods and musicians playing the same type of music, the MS Balmoral will follow the same exact route as the Titanic – and launched today.
Apparently the sold out cruise will include passengers from 28 different countries, some of who had relatives die on the original Titanic voyage. There will also be a number of authors and historians on board the cruise, which cost between $4,445 and $9,520.
