Yesterday I traveled across the lake to Stone Way Crossfit to experience crossfit for the first time with owner/trainer Scott Rodriguez, trainer Joe Bauer of AllAroundJoe.com, and a few other really cool guys including Erik Bee, Malachi and Rob Kilkup. They took it easy on me, but we eager to share their experiences and the benefits they’ve each seen from CrossFit. I had a really good time, got in a great workout and was pleasantly exhausted after this workout that took me just over 15 minutes. This is a workout they call “NUTTS” (probably because you have to be crazy to want to do it), but I did do a highly modified (pussyfied?) version and did make it through. My first crossfit workout was a blast and a really good experience thanks to Scott and all the great guys who participated. I’m trying to figure out how to incorporate crossfit into my life and Scott has got me thinking after ‘challenging’ me to go for a 90 Day Crossfit Challenge …. I’m really considering it. Anyone else want to join me?
